Challenge
The announcement for the new GoToMeeting was just weeks away and we needed to showcase the redesigned UI in a sleek, modern, and intuitive way. The priority was simple, but not easy: make this is the best landing page LogMeIn has ever made, to showcase it’s most acclaimed product.
Solution
I was tasked with nailing down the visual design and storytelling to highlight the new design for our customers. We opted to go with a dark theme and a clean and simple layout with plenty of whitespace and a lot of product images to really sell the new design.

I kicked off the design process by collecting screenshots of the new product and started building out a storyboard to get a better understanding of the new design, focused on storytelling.

The hero showcases a dark theme that incorporates the marketing video and provides a background with engaging content. I mocked up multiple variations of the hero and reviewed them with stakeholders prior to moving forward.
The hero of the page also features a video and a “living” background to bring life to the page. Each section uses animation of imagery and typography to guide visitors down the page. We used animation to tell the story and bold typography to set a clear hierarchy.

We aimed to delight visitors as they scroll down the page with animation that showcases the product screenshots and descriptions explaining the new features. Each row focuses on the product screenshot, calling out how the redesign solves customer problems.

Following the in-depth product shots is a section of additional benefits. I animated custom SVG icons here to maximize visitor engagement without sacrificing page performance.

The final section focuses on the mobile experience, which we collaborated on to come up with a unique way to showcase the product in action, and also used animation to fade them into the page to keep the storytelling engaging.
Results
The landing page for the New GoToMeeting exceeded expectations of what we could deliver in such a short timeframe. The page sets the bar for both visual design and storytelling at LogMeIn and helped promote the new product.
This became the flagship page and is the new foundation for what people should come to expect from the Web UX team.
